"Hanging around Quarter Horses, that's what Steve Burns, the prominent doctor of veterinary medicine, has enjoyed doing his entire life. Along the way, Dr. Burns has made an impact in the racing world, first by working with historic stallions like Rocket Wrangler, Merridoc and Strawfly Special, and later by playing a key role in helping to perfect and popularize the embryo transfer technique that has become so prevalent in the sport today."
